making it look harder to catch than it actually is

Get some practising done, sort of. That is to say I’m moving the various parts of the body that I’m supposed to be moving, but it doesn’t go fluidly (or make for inspiring results). Some days you just climb on and sit there.
Still circling the work, like a cat circles an interesting-looking inanimate object (that is to say, making it look harder to catch than it actually is). I also get a run in just before lunchtime.
When I do finally sink my claws into the work, it seems that I need either more instruction or more detail. And it went so easily last week. Ho hum.
So not a day of doing very much, then. More to the point, not a day of doing the very things I ought to have been doing, then.
