I Sit and then I sit for a while longer. I end up having my breakfast at 8:00.

There being no cereal and no fruit left at all I have to resort to having bread and honey for breakfast. Woe. Modified woe.

As I am eating my breakfast, they come back to finish dismantling the scaffolding outside. I try to remain oblivious of their wandering around outside my window and try not to laugh too loudly at the Pratchett book.

Find bridge for "untitled". I've decided it actually needs a long synth solo, a la mid-eighties Pat Metheny. No, really it does. I wonder if they still need that cheesy music for porn films. They probably get it all from Napster these days.

Do and send cover corrections to Scholastic.

Go to gym and thence to the supermarket. Fresh food in house. Hurrah!

Reheat rice and chilli for late 4:00 lunch/tea despite the prescence of fresh food.

Make membership cards and membership forms for the Kamel Klub, and cut them up. I have made 108 membership cards, probably all we'll need for a long while.

I intend to shave, but the light in the bathroom has gone, so I just let myself go completely and stumble out into the night a complete slob.

Go to gig at about 6:40. Return at 11:00. Terry and Denise give me a lift back, which is nice. I'm very glad I don't have to struggle with the Tube. I find myself talking at length about Guitar Craft in the car - it's useful explaining it to people over and over, since it serves to remind me of what GC was about.

As I am about to type this, I drop the graphics tablet on and break the "O" key off the keyboard - the little tabby bits that hold the key in place have broken off. I will need either a replacement key or a new keyboard (a USB one or something). It is with some strain that I type this, since the "O" is just a sort of rubber nub in the gap between "I" and "P". I wonder if I can get a replacement "O" for a Bronze Powerbook keyboard.
