a readjustment of my body clock

Up at five and spend a while just staring into space.
Pack. Will get underwear while I up there.
Get to King's Cross with two options - either watching the 7:00 train leave the station from the barrier or running pathetically up the platform and watching the train leave the station past me. So.
Nice chat with a woman who's two hours early for her train, going up for the "proper" festival.
Catch the 8:00, supposedly arriving at 1:15 (which is odd, because it always used to be a four hour journey). Get some scales done with the SoloEtte, but I didn't notice how bumpy the ride was until I tried to do that.
Uneventful journey, so we arrive at 12:15 as normally expected. I suspect that adding an hour into the journey time is an attempt to deal with the possibility of delays.
I check the times of trains first train on out on Sunday is 8:00 am; on Monday, it's 6:00, arriving 10:30. I'm tempted to get up extra-early on Monday.
Hmm. "I'm tempted to get up extra-early on Monday." Not a phrase you see very often.
I get a cab to Ellie's and the rest of the day is spent checking out the Fringe Brochure to see if there's anything I want to see. Most of the things I'm interested in are at after midnight, which will mean a readjustment of my body clock. Sit chatting a lot. Try out River Rise and Unison on Ellie, and they seem to work, so maybe I'll play them tomorrow.
