Serves me right for not knowing it's Italian for Tomato.
8:50 - Get up. Late. Breakfast.
I leave at well after ten and go to the doctor's surgery to see whether my Indomethacin presciption is there. It is, which is good. I have the prescription filled at the chemist up the road. There's definitely a synergy thing going on there, between the doctor's surgery and the chemist's shop.
Last time I had Indomethacin, they gave me 100 capsules in on bottle. This time it's several boxes of blisterpacks, each of which has seven capsules on it.
Then on to Walker, and Maisying.
At lunchtime, Ben and I go to the cafe in the community centre over the road. It's possible that it's run by the people who used to run the Courtyard Cafe at the other Buddhist centre, but I've not got up the nerve to ask. I have pasta a pomodoro, as pomodoro is an interesting word. Serves me right for not knowing it's Italian for Tomato.
Back to Maisying, and leave at 18:30. I listen to a lot of downloaded BBC docmentaries and A Little Man, A House and the Whole World WIndow by Cardiacs.
To the Shinay sitting, meeting Haru at the Samye Dzong centre. Good, although I do fall asleep occasionally. It takes me an hour to get the hang of it, and I'm actually focused for five minutes towards the end. I suppose that's the human condition. I think that if only I could remember how it went, I could get into that state from the beginning, but I suppose I'd have to do it more often than once a week.
However, I notice that energy is flowing through me more freely, in comparison to as recently as this morning.
Walk home, get chips from the local chip shop, then eat chocolate ginger biscuits and watch the documentary about India, followed by The IT Crowd and Newsnight.
I try and don't quite succeed to get the music working on my site.
